Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Conflict is part of our lives and growth. We meet it in our relationships, in groups and teams in our communities and across cultures.

In this program you will have the opportunity to reflect on your own relationship with conflict and to explore ways to transform conflict into positive change. You will gain both personal insights and skills and tools for constructively addressing interpersonal conflicts and mediating conflict between individuals and in groups thus creating constructive conversations. The workshop will be practical and participative.

We will address responding rather than reacting to conflict, remaining calm, recognising different behvioural styles – including your own, and developing flexibility, listening openly, speaking up to elicit co operation rather than defensiveness, better handle emotions – your own and others, a process for identifying real needs and concerns and developing options for addressing these and tips and tools for mediating.
